Funding for non-cleaner production focused projects is available from EPA under the Environmental Technologies research theme. This funding is awarded following evaluation of proposals received under open calls announced by the EPA.

The Local Authority Prevention Demonstration (LAPD) Programme is an initiative of the National Waste Prevention Programme with the primary objective of assisting local authorities to achieve waste prevention in, for example, the public sector, households and educational establishments. Phases of the LAPD Programme will be announced with the objective of providing direct assistance to an increasing number of local authorities.
